I would try it since it would add a nice glow to the image and would fill in the hair more so you have more of the soft balance between the highlight and the darker tones.
Experimenting is sooo important. Helps you to see what light does an dhow when it falls properly, it can completely change the image by sculpting and adding dimension. Your images are all about light helping to cast the mood and the memory that is elicited form your poses - light and playing with it is critical for your work....
